Moïra Truijens graduated from the University of Utrecht where she specialized in intellectual property law and IT-law. Moïra worked at the District Court of Utrecht as well as at the Institute for Information Law of the University of Amsterdam, where she participated in the institute’s database right project. Moïra worked as a lawyer at IP law firm Brinkhof before she joined our firm in the summer of 2008.
She specialises in patent, copyright, trademark and advertising issues. Moïra is an active member of professional organizations such as AIPPI and is one of the co-authors of the AIPPI reports on ‘Damages for infringement, counterfeiting and piracy of trademarks’ and ‘The person skilled in the art and the inventive step requirement in patent law’. She teaches and lectures regularly on subjects related to her practice.
