Josine A.K. van den Berg was educated at the Universities of Nijmegen and Rotterdam where she specialized in Intellectual property. During her studies she was a member of the editorial board of Ars Aequi, a student-run organization that publishes one of Netherlands' largest legal journals. Josine has lectured and published on a wide range of topics, such as copyright law and advertising law. She joined Klos Morel Vos & Schaap in 2003 and was admitted to the Bar in Amsterdam in the same year. In 2007 Josine received an appointment as a judge in the District Court Haarlem and returned to Klos Morel Vos & Schaap in 2008. Josine is an active member of various Dutch and international IP organisations such as the Dutch chapters of ALAI and AIPPI.
